2025 North Carolina Secluded Water Beats

We’re excited to offer a special opportunity to fish a secluded stretch of the East Fork of the French Broad River, just a few miles from Headwaters Outfitters. 

You’ll have two fishing options on this private stretch, which is divided into three beats. Each two-hour slot accommodates up to two unguided anglers and four guided anglers, and you’re welcome to book multiple slots for extra time on the water. As a Headwaters Outfitters client, you’ll enjoy exclusive access to this unique section of the river, where each slot is assigned a specific beat.

Fishing Options:

• Unguided Fishing – You’ll be assigned a beat the day of your trip and are responsible for bringing your own gear, flies, and other essentials.
• Guided Fishing – A licensed guide will accompany two anglers per beat, offering expert assistance with casting, fish location, and technique. All necessary fly fishing equipment, including rod, reel, fly line, leaders, tippet, flies, boots, and waders, will be provided if needed.

Not Included:

• North Carolina Fishing License
• Transportation to/from the Fishing Location
